🚀 A new perspective on innovation in law: from traditional dispute resolution to client-centered business relationships.

At this year’s ELTACon conference, held in Paris, the central theme was “GenAI” – Generative Artificial Intelligence. If until now the strength of the legal profession was associated with seriousness and professional success, technological evolution shows us that the only constant in 2024 is change.

There is indeed a growing concern among professionals that artificial intelligence could end up replacing the practitioner. However, most of the discussions at the conference painted an optimistic perspective: AI is a complementary tool that can help us become more precise, more efficient, and better at our practice.

Repetitive tasks today, such as drafting certain contractual clauses or recurring procedures before public institutions, will be replaced in the coming years by legaltech solutions. This change frees up time and energy for experts to focus on what technology cannot replace: the human component of business relationships, trust, and a deep understanding of the client. The transition to modern legal practice means more than solving legal problems; it means fully understanding the client and their needs and offering excellent experiences. Today, the relationship with the client is just as important as professional quality.

Legal practitioners must adapt their approaches to build authentic and long-lasting partnerships, complementing high-quality practice with empathy and a future-oriented vision.
